REFUND/RETURN POLICY
Please read this document in conjunction with the SOuth African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA).
Online Orders
At Omega Store (https://omegastore.co.za), we strive to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. If you are not entirely happy with your order, we’re here to help.
Please note that all orders will be shipped out with The Courier Guy within 3-5 working days. Should your order take longer than the usual, we will notify you with an approximate date for delivery.
1. Returns
You have 14 days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
- The item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging.
- Proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation, is required to process the return.
- Some items may not be eligible for return, such as perishable goods, customized items, or clearance sale products. Please check the product page for any specific return exclusions.
- No refund will be made for any electronic equipment/goods and any water filtration equipment purchased, if it was taken out of it’s package or used.
2. Refunds
Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your return. We will inform you of the approval or rejection of your refund:
- If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 10 working days.
- Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
- A 5% handling fee will be asked on the total purchase price.
- The refund will be made to you in cash/EFT.
3. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged within the warranty period. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please contact us at websales@omegastore.co.za to initiate the process.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning the item, unless the item was damaged, defective, or incorrect due to our error. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
5. Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of goods cannot be returned, such as:
- Perishable items (e.g., food, seeds, plants).
- Hazardous materials or flammable liquids.
- Custom or personalized products.
- Products marked as final sale.
Please refer to the product listing for details on any specific non-returnable items.
6. Coupon Codes
- Coupon/Discount codes are only valid for orders placed online.
- Discount codes are not valid in conjunction with any other voucher code or offer, unless otherwise stated.
- Promotion codes entitle you, at the time of ordering, to a saving on a new order placed via the website.
- We reserve the right to decline orders where, in its opinion, a promotion code is invalid.
- Promotion codes are only valid while stocks last and may be withdrawn at any time.
- In the event of product returns, refunds will be given for the value of the original purchase, i.e.: With applied discount. Not at the RRP of the item.
- In the event of part of the order being returned, the monetary value returned will be the value of the item/s at the time of the transaction, ie: with discount applied. The promotional discount will not be applied to replacement items. If the offer is still valid at the time of making a return you should place a new order using the original promotional code.
- We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time.
7. When does this policy not apply?
- Custom orders are exempt from being returned.
- Orders delivered outside of South Africa are exempt from being returned.
- If 14 days have passed since an item was delivered, we can’t accept a return.
- Sale items are not returnable / refundable.
- Any item returned that is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
8. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund within the stated time frame, first check your bank account or payment method again. Then contact your bank or credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

1-Year Pump Warranty
OmegaStore warrants its pumps to the original end user/purchaser to be free of defective materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 12-months from the date of purchase from our Store. To be eligible for warranty repair or replacement, the pump must be returned to our Store before the expiry date of the warranty period, for evaluation. Proof of date of purchase is required.
1. Warranty of Quality
- Liability in terms of this warranty shall be limited to repair or replacement of the pump. Liability for all and any other losses and/or subsequent damages suffered are expressly excluded.
- This warranty does not obligate OmegaStore to bear any cost of removal, installation, transportation, or other charges which may arise in connection with a warranty claim.
- The warranty shall not apply to repairs or service necessitated by normal wear and tear or for lack of reasonable and proper maintenance.
2. This Warranty does not apply if in the sole judgement of OmegaStore, the product or any of the components have been:
- Tampered with, disassembled, repaired or altered;
- Subjected to misapplication, misuse, negliagance, accidental; or poor installation practices.
- Used to pump anything for which the pump was not designed for. Such use may compromise or harm the pump and/or any of its components.
3. Solar Pump Non-Warranty Claims
- If found that there was water damage to the Control Box or Pump motor.
- If there are clear signs of the Solar pump that has “run dry”.
- Wear and tear caused by dirty underground water.
- The Solar Pump Electronic Control Board only carries an Out-of-Box Factory Warranty, unless it proofs to be a factory fault.
- The various PC Boards in the Control Boxes, will not be considered for the Warrantee claim, if there was:
- Electrical surge caused by lightning.
- The VOC of the solar panels was not spec correctly.
- Any short circuit between any connection points on the controller occured.
- Any solar connection plug(s) has been broken or removed from the control box.
- If found that there was water damage to the Control Box or Pump motor.
4. Refund Procedure
- Full refund within 7 days of purchase; as part of the cooling off clause, the pump may be returned for refund, provided that it is still within the original packaging, unused, and in the original condition.
- Within 14 days of purchase; the pump may be returned for refund or replacement if it does not meet the purpose for which intended. Provided that it is still within the original packaging, unused, and in the original condition. In such instance the pump will be returned to OmegaStore for an evaluation, after which an inspection report will be provided confirming whether it meets the necessary requirements for refund or replacement.
Returns & Repairs
Within 12 months, should the pump not operate as specified, or cease to do so within 12 months after being purchased, the return procedure is as follows:
- Return the pump to our store, together with the proof of purchase (to confirm that it is within the 12-month warranty period). Please ensure that the condition of the pump is as specified above.
- The store will send the pump to the relevant Supplier for an evaluation, to determine the fault.
- The pump will either be repaired (if repairable) and warranted for three months thereafter, or the balance of the 12-month period, whichever period is longer.
- The evaluation (once the pump is sent back to our Store), repairs and delivery to our store will take place within 14 – 21 days. The owner will be notified on the progress of the repairs during this time and if there will be any costs involved for the repairs.
- If it is determined by the Supplier, that the cause of the Pump failure is due to any of the reasons stipulated above, under “This Warranty does not apply if in the sole judgement of OmegaStore, the product or any of the components have been:”, the client will be notified and a Quotation for Repairs will be send to the client for approval. The payment for the cost of repairs, will need to be settled on the day of the pump collection at our Store.
- The courier cost for the product to us and back will be for the client’s account and paid up-front.
We do value our Customers and the Pumps that we supply, and will always do our best to give you the best possible outcome with your Warranty Claims, as stipulated above
